2nd Biofy Hackathon: Artificial Intelligence and Innovation in Technology Marathon
The 2nd Biofy Hackathon started this Friday (28) and will extend until the evening of Sunday (30), challenging teams to develop innovative solutions in one of the seven proposed themes:
AI in Agriculture: how to increase productivity in the field.
AI in Genetics: techniques based on DNA and treatments.
AI in Law: assisting lawyers in their procedural activities.
AI in Sales: strategies to sell more and more effectively.
AI and Climate: forecasting storms and their impact on the economy.
AI in Health: use of computer vision in image analysis and diagnosis.
AI for AIs: creating one AI to improve another AI.
The opening ceremony featured a presentation by Felipe Araujo, marketing coordinator at Biofy, and CEO Paulo Perez. In a remote participation, Humberto Fukuda shared valuable insights about Oracle's solutions, complementing the training offered in the pre-hackathon held during the week.
Matheus Gaya, one of the event mentors, shared his experience of winning several hackathons and provided important tips for the participating teams. Cristhian Zanforlin, from Langflow, practically demonstrated the solutions developed by the company. Langflow is an open-source visual platform that facilitates the building of artificial intelligence applications, allowing the creation of agents and workflows in an intuitive and customizable way.
Ferdinando Kun, a representative of UberHub, a partner of the event, also gave words of encouragement to the teams. UberHub is a community dedicated to the startup ecosystem, innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship in Uberlândia, aiming to foster entrepreneurship in the region through technology, creativity, and collaboration.
Concluding the opening, Paulo Perez highlighted Biofy's initiatives and presented each of the proposed challenges in detail, wishing good luck and fun to all participants.
The 2nd Biofy Hackathon promises to be a fertile environment for creating innovative solutions, boosting the use of artificial intelligence in various fields, and promoting technological development.
