Biofy participates in FEMEC 2025
Paulo Perez presents innovations in Artificial Intelligence at the FEMEC 2025 Seminar
Last Tuesday (1st), the CEO and co-founder of Biofy Technologies, Paulo Perez, participated in the Artificial Intelligence Seminar promoted by the Rural Union of Uberlândia during FEMEC 2025. In his lecture, Perez highlighted the various research and development fronts of Biofy in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), going well beyond the popularly known solutions, such as ChatGPT.
During his presentation, Perez emphasized Biofy Genomics, a unit of the company that developed new AIs focused on sequencing, analysis, and editing of DNA, both for disease diagnosis and for genetic improvement of plants and livestock. Moreover, he highlighted Biofy's advances in building datalakes, integrating data from various platforms (ERP, CRM, WMS, TMS, and others) and using AI to generate assertive analyses and strategic decision-making.

The seminar also featured participation from Maurício Lemos of Sapiens Agro, and was moderated by Bernardo Costa. The event was an opportunity to discuss the impact of Artificial Intelligence on agribusiness and biological sciences, highlighting how technology can drive efficiency and sustainability in the sector.
FEMEC is organized by the Rural Union of Uberlândia, sponsored by Caixa and the Federal Government. The event also has the support of EMATER, the Government of Minas Gerais, FAEMG, SEBRAE, and the Municipal Government of Uberlândia.
