Artificial Intelligence in Law: Paulo Perez Lecture at UFU on Technological Innovations

On this Thursday, 09/05, Paulo Perez, CEO of Biofy Technologies, at the invitation of professor Ricardo Pleti, lectured for the Law classes at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). During the event, Paulo addressed the topic "Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Law", highlighting how AI is transforming the legal sector.

One of the main solutions presented was "LexIA", a software developed by the Biofy team. The LexIA is an innovative tool, with embedded AI, specifically designed to assist lawyers in managing cases and optimizing the operations of law firms. This system is already in the testing phase at the Hemmer Advocacia office in Uberlândia/MG, bringing gains in efficiency and agility.

Paulo Perez emphasized how the LexIA is being developed to meet the demands of modern law firms, offering solutions that allow for intelligent case management, optimizing time and resources. The AI of LexIA is designed to automate repetitive tasks, enabling lawyers to focus on more strategic aspects of their cases.

Last Monday (09/02), the Seminar on Education and Artificial Intelligence was held, a joint initiative of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), the Federal Institute of Triângulo Mineiro (IFTM), and the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM). The event brought together professors, researchers, and specialists from various universities and organizations to discuss the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education.

Biofy Technologies had the honor of being one of the invited companies to participate in this seminar, with the presence of Paulo Perez, CEO of Biofy, as one of the speakers. During his presentation, Paulo highlighted Biofy's innovative work in developing solutions that drive the evolution of society.
