On the last day of July 9, the city of Uberlândia (MG) was the stage for one of the most impactful events in Brazil’s innovation and technology ecosystem: the Collab Innovation 2025, promoted by ACIUB (Commercial and Industrial Association of Uberlândia). And Biofy made a memorable appearance!

Uberlândia: the new Brazilian capital of Artificial Intelligence?

During the event, the mayor of Uberlândia, Paulo Sérgio Ferreira (PP), surprised the audience by announcing a historic project: the installation of an Artificial Intelligence Data Center in the city, with a billion-dollar investment from an American company and the generation of 2,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The mayor even joked about the city's name, highlighting that "AI is already in Uberlândia's DNA", suggesting the nickname "UberlândIA". The proposal goes beyond the joke: it is a strategic initiative that could reposition the city as a national reference in innovation, technology, and artificial intelligence.
